Welllll - just answering the query - rumour has it Solos are imminent for this route, it's well used, always seems packed and the mini-tanks used on it at the moment just aren't enough. Have to say, it's a nice route with a friendly atmosphere, too.

Further to my previous post and Blakey's enquiry, the MediLink is expecting Solos at some point this year, and these will be operated (like before) by Nottingham City Council and not NCT. NCT will be providing help with such things as paint work so on, so fourth.

| well i was talking to a medilink driver today and he said that the mercedes buses currently on the medilink will be transformed into local link livary when the council get there new solos in summer and the optare aleros will be sold |

Afternoon all
I saw a new Solo on the Ring Road on Wednesday evening, didn't catch the reg (it started YJ08)
It was in Medilink livery, but without all the vinyls. |

Ive seen one Solo all painted up in medilink livery minus vinyls, and Ive seen one white one with simple medilink vinyls on it (ie it just said medilink, none of the fanciness) |

The painted but unvinyled one I've seen 2 or 3 times is YJ08 PHA.
They've been using some plain white ones with MediLink vinyls on for some weeks now, there's at least 2 or three of them, I saw a MX56 plate one last night. I guess they're ex-demonstrator/loan until the new ones arrive . |
