i heard from a good source that Premiere don't hardly own any of the fleet they run and have had to give back to the dealer some coaches they were leasing.
is it down to the fact that when i look out from my office on Bridgford Road X1 is hardly carrying anyone during the day, or have passengers remained loyal to TrentBarton? and that the £10 10 trip ticket hasn't caught on like Premiere thought it would.
i catch the X1, and its sad to see an operator giving it a go and not being able to look as though the business is there to sustain a service throughout the day

The X1 pays its way for now. It helps its interworked with Service 55 at times, and creates an excellent link from Bottesford to Nottingham.

A few buses and coaches are leased, yes.

Ten trips for ten pounds is valid on:-

X1 from Nottingham to Bingham
7 from Nottingham to Calverton, Woodborough and Lambley.
7A from Nottingham to Arnold and Mapperley Plains.
17 from Nottingham to Stapleford and Beeston
shoplink

Other routes have ten trip tickets too but they're not ten pounds:
X3 - £15
54/55/56 up to £24

Service 103, 12, 57 don't have ten trip tickets.

The plan was to always let go of some of the coaches (B12, B17 so on) anyway due to further expansion/developments elsewhere. It is of the opinion of many that the nicest coaches are to or have gone.

'too many eggs and one basket' perhaps.
