Can anyone tell me what TM Travel workings are NORMALLY worked by double decks, I'm especially after the ex Dublin Leyland Olympians H784PVW, J-CEV, L-SNO and the ex Nottingham Leyland Olympian K482GNN. I've seen a mixed bag of deckers working the 120 in Chesterfield and some checking on the net suggests they can work the 73- is this a common occurance or just an occasional treat?!

Ta in advance, Chris

H784PVW, J-CEV, L-SNO are always on my school bus routes, especially L720SNO but sometimes on the 120 and have been known to be on 14. Don't know about the 73

Leyland Olympian L726SNO broke-down on my school bus route today, don't know the exact problem but all i can say that smoke was streaming from underneath and just before it broke it was going extremely slow! and as in typical TM Travel style, they left us to walk the rest of the way home!

J844TSC, new to TM Travel from Lothian buses had an accident yesterday in which one of the Sunroofs on the top of the bus was literally "sliced" off by the Railway bridge near Whittington Moor. The Sunroof was lifted up which is why it was damaged, i'm usually on that school bus but didn't catch it yesterday! The Sunroof apparantly fell through the bus and landed on the upper deck before it was dismantled by the kids so i was informed!  Rolling Eyes

Tell-tale sign it's due a repaint soon then - after all YN06CYO got one after running around in that state.

The new '08 plate Centro's are being repainted into the SYPTE livery because they are going to replace the 3 Solo's on the FreeBee due to its popularity!!

Not really Derbyshire related but red Solo YN56AHY was on the FreeBee today in place of YJ57EHC - the usual spare YG52DHC was also missing. Were either of these hiding in Derbyshire?

More than likely, i wouldn't be at all surprised if they were on a Derbyshire County Council service  Rolling Eyes but hey! that's TM for you!
