In an even more amazing sighting, there was ONE (yes, ONE) whole passenger waiting for the RailLink today A record?

Well at least thats slightly above the need for a train station next to a power station, in the middle of no where.
Thats what i thought at first.
It does, in theory at least, seem like a good transport interchange. The station is quite close to the M1, quite a handy park and ride site for anyone driving down the M1 wishing to go to London (without the need to go into a City Centre).
Obviously the link between the Airport and the station doesn't make a profit - but who knows maybe more people will use it / find a use for it in time! If someone uses it there must be some demand!

Its slightly annoying when theres rail replacement on, instead of going direct to Nottingham from Loughborough via the A60, you have to go to East Midlands Parkway, for no-one to get on or off.
