Assume 61 is still off with its suspension.  The indicators on 62 were not flashing on the n/s this eve.

I heard 299 in Derby too.

Bad day at N+D.

Newly painted 106 sustained rear corner damage on a pole at Asda.

23 suffered more serious damage in a "whoopsie" against the wall of meadow road; it has gone to Langley Mill for repairs but is likely to be off the road for some time.

Paladin 128 may not return.

615 broke down in Clay Mills too.  Arrived back in Derby under its own steam, but with several nearside panels removed behind the front wheel arch.  I expect these were removed to gain access to something or other.

RE: 128; it's an insurance claim on the 3rd party's insurance. If they decide it's uneconomical to repair, then they will pay out to the value of the bus and write it off... the matter is (essentially) out of N+D's hands. There's a few tweaks going on to the fleet which could potentially 'free up' a couple of Paladins from other areas which are going low-floor, to replace 128 as a tacho bus.

On inspection the damage to 23 isn't as bad as first suggested; I think one window, a little bit of damage to the advertising hoarding and a bit of a bump and scrape.

Accidents happen...  Smile
