Some Sunday observations from TM Travel include:
Tesco Mansfield Solo YN07 SYS on the 108!!!
Merc YN54 WWU worked the last 202 (Mansfield-Buxton)

Sadly, the 202 has now been consigned to the history books (with only a replacement between Ashbourne & Buxton). Shame it's fallen victim to Derbyshire's 'bus-pass funding' cuts, as it was actually well used in the summer months! Another route changed after today is the Sunday 140 (Sandiacre-Matlock) & 174 (Matlock - Castleton), both interworked using the one bus. From next Sunday, it will only run between Ripley & Matlock.

This week also sees the end of TM routes 145, 413 & 414 - also victims of the forthcoming national bus-pass scheme.

Dan

P.S. Turns out I was both the first and last passenger on the last 202 journeys.

That solo seemed im preety poor condtion, rattles everyewhere, but is an Optare, so what can be expected.

Also, the interior was filthy, well it was on the 15.55 dept to Leek from Derby.

Not liking the single door on the model though.

You confused me thereat first, I've never seen a dual door solo!  Very Happy

But I do know what you mean - although I've never been on YN07SYS, I've seen its door and it looks a bit odd. If the Primos are anything to go by, I'm not even sure if such doors are safe! I've also heard talk of the doors hitting lamp-posts and breaking....

Harsh. I'm sure a Plaxton/Vario would've been much more smoother and comfortable.
