I haven't seen 716 yet though. I do agree though, they look fantabuloso. NCT are now are 100% low floor too!!!

The news item on the NCT website mentions 6 "new" buses - I'd guess they would be 710-715, with 716 remaining as a Go2 spare.

To use an old phrase, looks can be quite deceptive. I had the misfortune of travelling from Loughborough to Nottingham on 713 yesterday, & have to say it was the most unpleasant ride from Loughborough i've had for some time! Those plastic seats are not ideal for a 10min journey, never mind one of nigh-on an hour! The build quality is also crap too, which is no surprise to me considering how many Omnidekkas i've travelled on, but its more noticeable how bad it is when you're used to the Olympians.

Shame there wasn't a better alternative to the Omnidekkas available for the 1. Might have to get used to Premiere's Meridians on the X9 in future...

The ones Stagecoach have got in Corby aren't anywhere near as bad as NCTs lol. Way more comfortable too!!!

Gotta agree about the Omnidekkas. I've not used the number 1 ones yet (oddly, seeing as I live on the route) but when I have been on them before they've been absolutely awful. Rattly and crashing about all over the place, feel as though they have no suspension.
